This workshop will explore why it is essential for Reiki practitioners to practice from a sound ethical framework to achieve the highest level of professionalism in their words, actions, and intentions to ensure their client’s overall well-being.
Learning objectives are as follows:
Helene Williams, BSN, RN
Helene is a published author and Graduate Teacher of The International House of Reiki. She has over ten years of experience providing Reiki sessions in hospital, hospice, and extended care facilities settings, and has a well-established private practice where she teaches Reiki and mindfulness meditation classes. She has presented information on Reiki and holistic health care nationally, participated in a hospital-based Reiki research study, implemented and facilitated a hospital Reiki Volunteer Program and in 2013 established the Lancaster Community Reiki Clinic. She currently provides bi-weekly Reiki meditation sessions for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She currently sits on the board of the Center for Reiki Research. Her passion is to provide educational opportunities to health care organizations about the many benefits of Reiki for patients, families and staff.
