When Mineca’s 11 year old dachshund, Copper, refused to eat in August of 2023, she immediately signed up for an animal Reiki class online with Colleen Benelli, Pam Allen-LeBlanc, Robyn Benelli and Sioux Strong. She had already been practicing and teaching Reiki for many years, but she was desperate to help her dog and thought this class might offer some additional insight or techniques. Copper was Mineca’s practice partner throughout the class and when the class came to a close, Mineca and Copper felt a sense of peace and deep connection.

Unfortunately, Copper took a turn for the worse the day after class ended prompting Mineca and her husband to urgently take Copper to an emergency veterinarian. Before leaving, Mineca grabbed her Animal Reiki manual. Later that evening, it became evident that Copper was going to transition. Mineca pulled out her manual and began to utilize the class materials to create a sacred space and ceremony for Copper’s passing. He peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by unconditional love from his earthly parents and his angelic family.

Since 2023, Mineca has been passionate about helping animals and their caregivers.

This uniquely-designed Animal Reiki class is a very special collaboration between Rickie Freedman of ReikiSpace & Learning Place and Mineca Mae Wilson of My Little Studio.

In this practical, UNIQUE hands-on class you will receive:

An attunement to the unique Animal Reiki energy and symbol
Techniques for offering Animal Reiki to domestic animals in-person and remotely
On-location experience of offering Animal Reiki to farm animals
Experience in creating a Animal Reiki zone
Experience in offering Animal Reiki to animas in motion
Techniques for supporting animals and their caregivers during end-of-life
Breathing, grounding and centering techniques
NOTE: The last hour of this class will be at a home farm 15 minutes from ReikiSpace with donkeys, goats, sheeps and dogs to practice on! We can carpool.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed Reiki Level 2 from any lineage.
