Painting with the Angels is a space where we create together, connect to our hearts, and draw the angels into our lives.
This is an invitation to cultivate joy without turning away from suffering.
The Intentional Creativity® process invites us to remember a lightness of being that can be hard to access in times of uncertainty.
Through simple, symbolic drawing and painting, we open a two-way line of communication between our care for the world and the care that is available to us.
This is creativity in service of calming our world-weary nervous systems and remembering the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.
In this experience, we use a limited palette and intuitive mark-making to support ease and spaciousness.
We layer a rainbow pencil base with light washes of color, allowing the image to emerge through listening.
This way of working acknowledges the desire to get it right while creating space to notice what happens when you give yourself permission to create, to pause, and to allow some things to just be, discovering for yourself when a piece feels complete.
You may find that your version of “not good enough” is already more than enough.
In addition to leaving with a finished angel painting that carries personal meaning for you and your very own rainbow pencil to continue drawing the angels into your life, you may feel a lightness of being, a sense of grounding, and the quiet knowing that you don’t have to carry everything alone.
This Painting with the Angels gathering is offered in honor of Earth Day, where we meet our very own Earth Angel.
The Earth Angel holds the frequency of love for our planet and all life upon it.
We’ll be drawing and painting the Earth Angel as a way of offering our care to the Earth, while also receiving care and support from the angels.
Painting with the Angels is an invitation to imagine that there is an angel for every need, and this is a creative way to develop a relationship with these loving messengers.
This is just the beginning!
