Lorie will facilitate a Mindfulness Meditation on Self Compassion.
Do you have a tendency to be hard on yourself, judgmental, or in a constant battle with your inner voice? There is an overwhelming body of evidence today that suggests self compassion enables people to suffer less and thrive more. Research also shows there is less anxiety and depression with self compassion. Dr. Kristin Neff the leafing researcher on compassion suggests there are 3 components of self compassion. They are self kindness, mindfulness, and shared humanity. Lorie will lead you through a mindfulness meditation on self compassion. Come take part in learning a healthier, kinder way of treating yourself, managing your stress, and healing.
Lorie is a Reiki Master who has a private practice called Calm Spirit where she does Reiki and Reflexology. Her background is in health education, disease prevention and health promotion through stress management. Lorie is dedicated to helping people find tools to help them live a healthier well balanced life
