Forest Bathing ~ A Guided Nature Experience led by Kim Hoover and Mary Brenner with Sound by Jamie Brenner
Step into the stillness of nature and awaken all of your senses to the beauty of the forest. Join us for a gentle, guided walk that invites you to be present and mindful. Calm the mind, slow your heart rate and boost your mood. Connect with the Earth in real time, not screen time. What to expect: centering of breath, gentle stretching, a slow, guided walk and quiet time in nature. We will gather with herbal tea and a snack to close the experience.
Forest Bathing invites you to step into the natural world to improve your mood and overall wellness. Forest bathing is inspired by the Japanese practice of connecting with the trees in the forest to awaken your senses, slow down and mindfully bring your attention to the present moment. The experience is led by Kim Little Hoover, certified by the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership, who believes nature offers a safe space for quiet reflection and connection. Participants are invited to gently pay attention to the sights, sounds, smells and textures of the forest. The goals are to calm the mind, slow heart rate and boost the immune system. Life feels better when we are outside.
Mary Brenner is a Reiki Master//Teacher and nature photographer. Mary is sharing her forest home for this experience. She is a native plant Gardener and a lifelong birder. Enjoy my world. Inspire yours!
Jamie Brenner, Reiki Master and a trained Sound Meditation Therapist will invite you to pause, breathe and restore balance with love, light and compassion.
For ages 18 & up, however teens ages 15-17 accepted when attending with a registered adult.Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes (no sandals) and bring a sit pad if you have one. Rain or shine.Blue Mountain location will be shared upon Registration. (It is about 10 minutes from ReikiSpace)NOTE – This event will also be held on 5/30 from 9-11am
