Lori Sweet ~ In the Company of Fairies: An Unconventional Memoir
Thirty years ago, on a quiet sunny morning, I took a walk in the woods and encountered two luminous lights. They told me they were fairies. But that was only the beginning. What followed was a quiet journey that would change my world.” ~ LLS
How do we process and integrate the mystical and inexplicable in our lives? Lori Sweet began by writing down her encounter, giving unique form to what she could not fully name, then set it aside. Thirty years later, the story reemerged, asking to be shared. In the Company of Fairies: An Unconventional Memoir began.
This layered memoir weaves a story within stories, rooted in nature’s wisdom and the magic of ordinary moments. It reflects on how we might approach what cannot easily be defined with curiosity, reverence, and the eyes of the heart.
Lori Sweet is an artist, writer, and teacher who explores the spaces where spirit, creativity, and everyday life meet. From childhood she has cultivated a lifelong devotion to inner listening, nature’s wisdom, and the mystical currents of the world. For more than 35 years, Lori has guided others as a social worker, complementary healthcare practitioner, and teaching artist, helping them discover their own inner wisdom and creative voice as a healing process. Her work moves fluidly between imagination, contemplation, and embodied practice, inviting a gentle awareness of the sacred in daily life.
Bernard Ballard ~ Design Imaginations Poetry, self-publishing author.
Poet since 2010 and self-publishing author since 2012 I have produced over 27 books and built a consistent in-person and online presence. I am an independent published and performance-based literary artist.
What has been created through these poems is not simply a poetry collection. It is an invitation to wake up and perhaps most importantly, it offers readers something increasingly rare in spiritual and philosophical poetry: A voice that does not merely describe awakening from the outside but speaks from within it. It is a carefully crafted exploration of consciousness, identity, and the profound wisdom available to anyone willing to look past the mind-made fantasy of ordinary life and into the deeper reality beneath it. Stop, look inward, and reassess how you understand the nature of reality, identity, and the life you are living right now.
My poetry is designed to uplift by presenting an alternative view of our life experiences. Based in the ideas that our thoughts and feeling which create out beliefs can be cultivated to bring us more happiness and joy.

Julie Moffiit ~ Cancer Without Fear: Integrating Complementary and Alternative Medicine with Mainstream Treatment
When Julie Moffitt was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, it galvanized her to take her long-held interest in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) to optimize her healing in every way she could. While she chose to follow the mainstream regimen her doctors recommended – surgery, chemotherapy and radiation – she also embarked on a daily routine of guided imagery, affirmations, meditation, yoga and exercise. In addition, she made frequent visits to Reiki practitioners and Sound Healing therapists. Not only is she now healthy and cancer-free, but she also found the experience empowering and life-changing. This is the story of how it can be like that for you, too.
Julie has been writing for as long as she can remember, creating everything from poetry to non-fiction. She has also led workshops to help others enhance their writing skills and explore writing as a tool for self-discovery. Her work often centers on personal growth and navigating life’s challenges. She has published three non-fiction books, a book of poetry, and a beginning guitar lesson manual.
Jessica Fiscus ~ Petals from A fallen Rose
This book has brough me much healing writing it and my hope is to bring healing to those who read it by interacting with the journaling prompts within the book and knowing you are not alone.
“I decided to share the most personal experiences of my life with the world, in hopes of reaching out to the shattered inner child, the battered wife, the broken Mother, the self-healer and the survivor, that needs to know you are not alone. I wish you to find comfort in these words, I wish you to find the path that heals you and I wish you to shed what no longer serves your highest good because you are worthy and deserving.”
Jessica Velez Fiscus is a Reiki Master/Teacher. She is a survivor of childhool sexual abuse, domestic violence and addiction. She is the mother of five children with the youngest being Type one Diabetic.
Michelle Wolfe ~ Mixtape Memories
Michelle Wolfe is a writer, editor, and storyteller who explores the intersection of memory, music, psychology, and personal transformation. She believes that the songs woven through our lives become a soundtrack to our most meaningful moments, connecting us to the people we were and the people we are becoming. Through her writing, she invites readers to reflect, remember, and rediscover themselves… one song at a time.
Before playlists and streaming, we made mixtapes — carefully choosing songs that captured moments, emotions, and pieces of ourselves.
What song takes you back in an instant?
Mixtape Memories is an interactive collection of reflections and prompts that explores how music shapes our identities and preserves the stories of our lives. Through nostalgia, personal storytelling, and thoughtful journaling, readers are invited to revisit songs that marked first loves, road trips, heartbreaks, celebrations, and quiet moments of becoming. Part memoir, part guided keepsake, Mixtape Memories helps create a soundtrack that can be treasured and shared for generations.
