Alexandria’s work is inspired by the Susquehannock Native Lands. Through preserved moss and foraged local native species of moss, rock, tree, vine, nuts, etc. from the Susquehanna river bed, to Swatara and Paxton creek, to big Boyd tree preserve, she create’s Wall Altars for demonstrating our relationship with mother earth (Gaia) and has found a way to honor our lands by facilitating the bringing of it inside of your home without harming the environment. This is a way for Alexandria Love to showcase our region and deep intrinsic connection to nature.. as she believes we are nature in and of itself. There is no separation.
