One of the most important factors in maintaining a healthy body is a flexible spine. The yogis say that youth is determined by the flexibility of your spine. Low back pain and upper back stress are some of the most common health complaints of adults. The best way to avoid backaches is to take care of your spine on a daily basis. There are no quick fixes for back pain, but Kundalini yoga is an effective maintenance program.
Each of our four Friday morning classes will feature Kundalini Yoga sets for health. These classes are suitable for everybody. They are designed to be practiced on the floor but adjustments can be made for a chair. Modifications can be made to postures. Each class will focus on certain areas of the body but the entire body will benefit through stretching, flexing and conscious breathing.Classes will include detailed information about the postures and benefits. We will end every class with a lovely 3 minute meditation.
