Feeding the Roots of Self Expression and Freedom- From Pain to Possibility: What Will Your Story Be?
Join writer and writing coach Denise VanBriggle to unearth your own stories using poetry as a springboard for deep exploration. Using probing questions from her new book (with Jimmy Santiago Baca and Kym Sheehan) as well as her own transformational story, Denise will guide you on your own healing journey. Seeds planted on May 8 will take root and blossom on May 22, and everyone will leave with a finished piece of writing that reveals a bit of their story. The objective of this two-part class is to spark or re-kindle a love of self-expression, leading to increased self-awareness and vitality.
Fee: $60 (includes both sessions and materials)
