Tessa Shaffer is an award-winning novelist and screenwriter who searches for universal truths that bleed through any genre. Whether it’s finding the humor in the hurt, the evil in the good, or the strange in the familiar—she searches for writing that leaves audiences with a changed perspective. Recognized as an Indie Excellence Book Awards Finalist, Journey Awards Finalist, and by the Writer’s Digest Awards in 2019, 2018, and 2016, her work has also appeared in GirlsLIFE magazine, Authors Publish, and Indie Chicks magazine.
Tessa has always been enthusiastic about great writing and a champion for authors, and is honored to have turned that passion into a growing career with Corvisiero Literary Agency. As a Literary Manager for screenwriters and a Literary Agent for authors, Tessa has an eye for translating books to film and bridging the two industries. She’s an accomplished writing coach with her past writing clients having won awards for both books and screenplays.
As a conflict of interest, any work she takes on as a Book Doula through Reikispace EnLIGHTen to help authors or screenwriters via coaching, editing, or developing their manuscript or screenplay will *not* be considered by her for agency representation.
Coaching sessions are available for any level of support from working on a first draft, getting ready to publish, or marketing an existing book.
