Visual Journaling is one way of using art as meditation and medicine. Expressive art can serve as a tool or pathway for healing and transformation. With over 20 years of experience in the area, Lori Sweet will guide us on a journey to our heart center using techniques that include guided imagery, energy work, creative expression, and body/mind dialogue. Lori will gently help us to take a problem, concern, or issue we are currently struggling with to the wisdom of our deepest self — The Heart: portal to our inner wisdom and our divine compassion — and come back with new insights and possibilities. You may be amazed with what your heart knows and has been waiting to share with you!
During our time together Lori will
give an introduction to the world of “healing art” with a quick overview of what it is, how it has been used around the world, and how it can be significant in our own lives
offer us instruction and practice accessing our own imagistic body/mind language and how to dialogue with our inner healer/artist
guide us through an intuitive, heart centered, expressive art exercise to enhance our understanding of this process and offer support on your own personal journey!

Lori Sweet is a Reflexologist, Supportive Wellness Coach and local Artist. She has 29 years experience as a medical social worker and has created and led workshops in healing, personal growth and spiritual exploration for over 25 years. Lori sees the creative pathway as a natural bridge between mind, body and spirit. Lori also has certificates in Therapeutic Touch and Reiki.
