This hour and twenty minute workshop will take place the following Fridays: February 3, March 3, March 31, April 28 and May 26. Each workshop focuses on a physical, emotional or spiritually centered topic. Using conscious breathing, gentle stretching postures, beautiful mantra and music and deep relaxation, students surrender to their own Sat Nam….their own truth within. Each class is gentle and can be done by anyBODY. Modifications and the use of a chair makes Kundalini yoga accessible to all students- beginner to the seasoned student.
The February class has a focus on Heart energy. The Heart Chakra is associated with Love, compassion and forgiveness. An open and clear Heart Chakra helps us feel more connected to other people and life. One may feel kinder, gentler and more loving after the practice of a heart centered kriya. This kriya and the following meditation opens, clears and brings the heart center in to balance.
