This foundational lecture begins with a brief history on the founding of essential oil therapy. Michael Lausterer, Basic Earth Essentials, will explain the different extraction methods used to obtain essential oils, the proper way to store essential oils, labeling information and a discussion on fragrance oils. Class participation will include an interactive session about the aromatic differences between essential and fragrance oils.
