This class will introduce safe methods of applying essential oils to the body. Carrier oils, along with their properties and benefits will be discussed as well as essential oils that are appropriate for infants and children. Dilution ratios for carrier oils and various bases will be introduced. Several essential oil profiles will be explained including chemical analysis and how to read a gas chromatography / mass spectrometry sheet for the selected oil profile. Participants will smell, analyze and discuss both essential oils and carrier oils that will be used for hands-on learning in this class.
